## The online preview and the $75 unlock

On https://eastcoastcad.com/permit-plans/ a person types an address and gets a blurry, stamped sheet of the lot. Neighbors are wiped. It is unreadable on purpose so you can confirm it is the right property. Request drawing / permit plan unlock is $75: it unlocks the readable permit sheet and canvas so you can sketch proposed work on the lot. That is not the finished permit set.

## Is it a survey?

No. We pull the recorded plat (land records, or the plat you send) and redraw the house, the proposed work, and the setbacks in CAD. The sheet note says it is compiled from the recorded plat, not a field survey. A licensed surveyor is needed only when the county requires a sealed survey, a new recorded plat, or the old plat does not match what is on the ground.

## Price

Preview drawing / unlock $75. Accessory permit set $199. Pool $299. Addition $399. Comment revision $125 per cycle. See [Pricing](https://eastcoastcad.com/agents/pricing.md).

## Who draws it

Blue Book since 2007. George Noll draws every set (27 years). Quote by the set. Mostly DC, Maryland, and Virginia; based in Bel Air, MD. You are hiring George (he draws every set) and Amber (she keeps the shop moving) - not a drafting mill.
