BIM is one model the architect, engineer, and contractor can share. We build and update models for review, clash checking, and fabrication.
Field scanning produces a point cloud of real-world geometry. You can measure from it, walk it, and convert it into a model. It captures today. It is not an as-built record set — those document what was installed against the contract documents after construction.
